Radisson Collection Resort Nanjing is located in a secluded garden embraced by pine cypresses trees, hot springs and green mountains. Its architectural design precisely draws inspiration from such a site of serenity. The architectural complex appears like a clear and ethereal water. Radisson Collection Resort Nanjing is designed by LWK+Partners, an architect firm headquartered in Hong Kong. Its interior design subdues the flamboyant prosperity of this ancient capital and fuses it with the design concept of modern hospitality, through a contemporary depiction of the famous local weaving tradition, Yunjin or cloud brocade, one of the Four Brocades of China and a highlight of China’s time-honored pursuit of exquisite artisanship. The refined details of Yunjing are there in rooms, suites and public areas, speaking for the luxury of Nanjing and creating for guests the unique memories about Nanjing. 

The Art of Light illuminated by the right lighting

The light of a high-end hotel should be designed in a way that it responds to the philosophy of the interior design, and effectively interacts with local culture and international brand. The main wall of Radisson Collection Resort Nanjing lobby accentuates the design theme of Yunjing, through its elegant silk brocade finishing made into waves fluctuating in the indoor space. When the night comes, the AKIN strip light series, AMEZ downlight series and ALA track light series concealing underneath will closely outline the wave arcs and the flowing architectural lines. The duet illuminating this serene resort detached from the urban noises introduces a symphony of architectural, light, landscape and interior designs.

The All Day Dinning is in marble and wood materials. The embedded AMEZ downlight series guarantees the general lighting of this setting, and the invisible recessed linear light match the composed and unadorned tone of the walls with niche deco. At the same time, the linear lights also avoid the dazzles caused by unappropriated light shining on the complex patterns of interwoven silk threads shaped by wood machine and incorporated on the walls. As a guardian of visual sense, they also enable a classic and romantic atmosphere for the restaurant.

In addition, banquet halls, swimming pool, SPA zone, meeting rooms, business lounge, hot spring space, aisles and other areas have also been choreographed under the same consistent theme, with bright hues and palettes of elegant colors demonstrating the understated luxury embodied in refined Yunjing. The AMEZ downlight series, AKIN strip light series and ALA track light series installed in the spaces ensure good lighting and enhance spatial performance without producing abrupt and loud light sources.  

It is reported that, among the six high-end luxury resorts and hotels housed in Nanjing Garden Expo Park so far, Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo Park is the first of its kind launched in Jiangsu and Radisson Collection Resort Nanjing the first of its kind launched in China, and Aero Light has already supplied lighting fixtures for the four five-star hotels out of them (Banyan Tree, Hotel Indigo, Radisson Collection Resort and voco Hotel), manifesting the strength of a Chinese brand committed to five-star-hotel lighting solutions.
